With over ten years’ experience in innovation and clean growth, alongside an earlier career in recruitment and business ownership, she brings a strong commercial understanding to the way she supports SMEs to innovate and grow.
She has worked across a range of publicly funded programmes including Innovate UK, ERDF and UKSPF, guiding businesses through innovation strategy, commercialisation and project delivery. Kerry particularly enjoys working with organisations to shape new ideas, explore opportunities and translate them into clear, achievable plans.
Based in East Sussex, Kerry has built strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders, including local authorities, universities, growth hubs and innovation partners. Her experience with the Federation of Small Businesses further strengthened her understanding of the challenges facing SMEs and the importance of strong local networks and representation.
Alongside her focus on innovation, Kerry supports businesses to embed sustainability into their plans, including carbon reduction, resource efficiency and more sustainable ways of working. She is known for her approachable, practical style and her ability to bring clarity, structure and momentum to complex ideas.
