Meet the Team

Lucy Pimblott

Bid Manager & Business Development

Oxford Innovation Advice

Lucy Pimblott scaled

Lucy has successfully managed and written public sector bids for previous companies; in addition to over 20 years’ marketing experience for global brands, SMEs and running her own businesses, her experience as a Business Analyst and her ability to see the successful potential in any situation,

Lucy brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills to the OI Bid & Business Development Team.

Using words to solve a problem, paint a picture, and create lasting positive impacts, may not be the first attributes you’d expect from a Bid Manager, but winning bids requires a variety of skills. The ability to see a solution rather than a problem and to win hearts and minds to that solution is a strength for Lucy, one she has demonstrated in all her previous roles.

As a Client Manager on the Good Growth Programme, Lucy was able to gain an even deeper understanding of the complex and various requirements of small businesses. Being in a position to help those ambitious businesses with their growth aspirations, watching their plans and goals come to fruition, which is a genuine passion, spurred Lucy on to want to be part of the solution at a higher level, ensuring more small businesses around the UK have access to the best business support programmes delivered by the best Oxford Innovation delivery teams.
