Paul-Henri Sampson

Business Support Adviser

Business Growth West Midlands in Dudley

To help SMEs in the Dudley Borough to access relevant business support by developing solid relationships with owner managers including the use of business diagnostics and Growth Mapper where appropriate.

Paul started his SME career with a post graduate Enterprise Award from Durham University Business School following which he worked at senior levels in predominantly Small businesses including software development and Industrial Market Research. He was a Senior Consultant at Enterprise Agency Project North East where he managed a range of SME support programmes including Financial Packaging, Export Development and International Trade Initiatives. Paul was part of an EU team supporting enterprise development in the EU accession countries including Poland and the Czech Republic.

Paul is a published Author on Export having Managed the National Shell sponsored Export Challenge for SMEs as well as being Director for the Welsh Shell Livewire youth enterprise programme.

Paul has worked in |Regeneration and Economic Development at Worcestershire County Council and as Partnerships Manager at Regional Development Agency Advantage West Midlands.

Prior to joining OI Advice Paul ran his own consultancy working with associates on several local authority projects including Levelling Up and SPF bids and delivery. He has supported major businesses in accessing National Grant schemes, as well as SMEs accessing grants for growth and environmental projects.
