Meet the Team

Andrew Baxter

GROWTHmapper Manager

Oxford Innovation Advice

Andrew started his career at ICI’s Group Environmental Laboratory in Devon as an analytical chemist before moving to Scandinavia where he worked for a multinational packaging company in both technical, commercial and general management positions supplying packaging systems to national and multinational FMCG companies.

During this time, he gained extensive experience at senior and board level and has spent many years living in both Scandinavia and Asia where he managed culturally diverse teams, started manufacturing, sales and trading companies and managed relationships with joint venture partners and licensees.

On returning to the UK he has been involved with managing and exploiting intellectual property, commercialising new technology and managing knowledge exchange between a university and the private sector.

Andrew is now a Business Coach with Oxford Innovation and brings expertise in operating in international markets, managing culturally diverse teams, customer relationships, market entry strategy, product development and commercialisation.
