The Land App is a design tool for land management, digitising the land you manage into one, secure place – with information available at the touch of a button. The digital mapping platform was founded in 2015 by Tim Hopkin, borne out of frustration experienced at his family’s farm in surrey. His digital product promises to save time, reduce risk and improve accuracy in place of the inaccessible data and paper maps for managing UK farms and estates that were available then.
Coaching by oxford Innovation helped The Land App to increase their active app users, hiring of new staff where the head count increased by 5 employees. From the improved product the company was able to contract a strategic corporate customer and securing a new investment round as a result of investor readiness training.
